Training and Development Sub Committees

 

The Training and Development Sub – Committee (w.e.f. 26.02.2007)

 Functions :

 

  1.  The Committee shall develop Action Plan for initiating the non-institutional programme in new States/UTs.
  2. It will finalize Annual Training Calender, Modules/Capsules   for training and capacity building of all stakeholders, specially for agencies working for non-institutional care.
  3. The Committee shall be responsible for drawing up policy and strategies for media and advocacy initiatives by CARA.
  4. The Committee shall focus on promotion of family based non-institutional care, viz sponsorship, foster care and adoption on the one hand and creation of a positive climate for the wider acceptance of non-related/legal adoptions on the other.
  5. The Committee shall address anti-adoption publicities.
